Print run v… · macOS & Windows
The same pen,

macOS†
macOS 12 Monterey or later
Intel & Apple Silicon · .dmg file
Print run v… · separate .dmg files per architecture.
Windows‡
Windows 10 or later
Installs without admin · .exe file
What's in the box
Three commitments · built in
I · Commitment
Macros anywhere you type
Word, PACS, the EHR, whatever the system. Expansion happens in any text field on your computer.
II · Commitment
No admin rights needed
Installs in your user folder. No UAC on Windows, no password on the Mac. It even works on the on-call workstation.
III · Commitment
Always the latest print run
The app pulls the latest version of Voxel on its own. Download once, never reinstall.
How to install
Four steps · five minutes
The ritual is short and needs no privileges: no calling IT. Pick your system and follow the column.
- 01
Download the .dmg file (Intel or Apple Silicon, depending on your Mac).
- 02
Open the .dmg and drag Voxel into the Applications folder.
- 03
If macOS blocks it: System Settings → Privacy & Security → “Open Anyway”.
- 04
Under Privacy & Security → Accessibility, turn Voxel on: that's what lets the macros reach your other apps.
The desktop is an extension of the reading room. The full platform stays alive in the browser, always on the latest print run.
